John, no parcel shelves were harmed in my speaker installation. I just used double sided adhesive pads. Worked a treat.

Ideally the engine oil should be warm before you drain it. You might be able to drain it cold if it isn't too thick. You could try a heat gun on the sump. Very period for the 80s/90s I had such a pair of speakers in my MK2 Cavalier back in 1992.

The original photo was 1024 x 768 pixels. I still reckon its a Garfield. They were quite popular back then.

I use BG44K and along with a full service just prior to the MoT, I always get through the emissions (unlike some other parts of the test!). Edd did the Terraclean treatment on the episode of Wheeler Dealers with the Jaguar XK8 and it reduced the exhaust emissions so it must work...

To be honest, I've never really noticed before. It does look like a Garfield. The photo was taken in February 2004 so the car was still relatively newish. When I bought it, it was the newest car I'd ever owned.
