Re: Today I have been ?????????????? to my classic

Managed to get the 1966 Herald 1200, MPC 868D, through the MOT today with no advisories. The last Mot was in 2011 and immediately after it passing I took it off the road to do the things advised, new brakes, pipes, fuel pipe, fuel leak, carb rebuild, track rod ends and nsf outrigger. Unfortunately i...

Re: 1983 Reliant Fox

Thanks so much for all the advice so far. The reliant forum I used to go on has now appeared to be down. I have managed to give the Fox a good wash so that now I can actually work on it without the Hay/Grass/Farminess affecting my allergy! Also loads of the black paint is coming off back to the orig...

1983 Reliant Fox

Hi, We have been out buying quite a bit over the last couple of weeks but my favourite has to be this little gem. Stored in a barn for 10 years and complete with no damage to the body or chassis it looks like it just needs some recommisioning and obviously an improvement on the fading brushed black ...

Anyone notice how not once Ant has welded with gloves on? Bit different to Health & Safety Ed China who near enough wears a Bio Hazard suit if he has to use a drill!

Re: Car TV shows, like buses they are..

The "love of cars" one with Phil "Gene Hunt" Glenister was excellent and they have done some superb restorations. So far there was an Escort Mexico, Land Rover Series 1, Stag, and Mini Cooper. They have a MG TC and something else as well but I have to admit I do enjoy the show as its like Wheeler De...

Re: MGF's or whatever they are

We specialise in parts for both Mx5 and MGF's and I have had both cars from new and used. The MGF is great. I bought a TF160 new over the MX5 NB as it was far more practical for every day use. The MG is cheaper and in our experience doesn't rust anywhere near as much although the rest of the build q...

Re: Is the Iconic Fairway Taxi practical and is it a classic

Yes it is a classic and yes I want one.

The Nissan Bluebird is something I would like as well especially in "Executive" trim with the rear air vents that appear to have no real purpose, unless the rear lights get REALLY hot lol.

1967 Triumph Herald 13/60 Convertible XPU 428F

Hi thought I would add some pictures and the progress of a Herald we are restoring.

Its showing 17,000 miles which I doubt is genuine but it has been off the road since 1990 and the lady has owned it since 1978 so may be correct.

Its one of the early ones being a GE3***CV Chassis number
