Re: Today I have been ?????????????? to my classic

Cleaning the engine bay over the last few days. Fixing odd silly things like a windscreen bottle that had no cap on it,but just some tape. Been like that for years. Now it has a cap. Going to clean radiator fans, mud shields, battery boxes, ... You know jobs that are urgent, not even required, but h...

Side indicator lamp identification

I wondered if anyone here could indenting something for me? I have a side indicator lamp that I use for an oil pressure light on a racing MGB. The lens has broken and I would like to replace. While I could replace with any old light, I would like to replace for exactly the same for a silly reason. H...

Winch recommendations

A snapped cable on the current mechanical winch yesterday means that a replacement is needed. Why just replace the cable when there seems to be decent electrical winches out there for £100 or so. I'm looking at the Warrior (great name) C3500A. Does anyone have any experience of this or sister models...

Re: Battery charger

Thanks for the replies. I've gone the CTEK route. :D I use one of these. Not so fancy, but am happy with it. I added an Anderson socket to the end and have another socket ore installed in several cars. Might be useful for you to use on other cars as well as your Camper? In addition I cut some jump ...

Re: 1988 Jaguar XJ40 Sovereign 3.6 light resto

Mine used to leak power steering fluid. It was a result of my own numptiness. I topped up with the wrong fluid, I used regular power steering fluid :(
