It is to winch a car on to a trailer. To be used to transport an MGB around the country. Relatively infrequently, about a dozen times a year. So it isn't going to get punished! Winch recommendations
A snapped cable on the current mechanical winch yesterday means that a replacement is needed. Why just replace the cable when there seems to be decent electrical winches out there for £100 or so. I'm looking at the Warrior (great name) C3500A. Does anyone have any experience of this or sister models...

Thanks for the replies. I've gone the CTEK route. :D I use one of these. Not so fancy, but am happy with it. I added an Anderson socket to the end and have another socket ore installed in several cars. Might be useful for you to use on other cars as well as your Camper? In addition I cut some jump ...

Mine used to leak power steering fluid. It was a result of my own numptiness. I topped up with the wrong fluid, I used regular power steering fluid
