Followed a deep red E-Type V12 today .. travelling west on A40 near Uxbridge/Denham junction. :mrgreen: Top down (it wasn't raining earlier!)







Must have been owned by Lucifer at some point given the "666" in the registration! :o If the owner is on here, no offence meant .. the car's gorgeous!

Went to the le mans 24 hour truck race this weekend lots of classic American trucks and cars and a lot of European stuff.. then while we had some rain we called in the museum.. petrol head paradise.. I have pics but no idea how to post them since botophucket started charging and I'm a skinflint :lo...

You comments about Depo lights reminded me about the pair on the 206. After an altercation with a crash barrier on the M4 I needed a new pair ... and a few other big bits ... but when I can to fit the side lights the inner reflector was actually masking the side light hole!! I had to dremel the hole...

There's a neat looking Sunbeam Stilletto whizzing around my way .. usually driving or phone is in pocket when I see it though ..

A very nice XK was passing over Marlow Bridge bank holiday weekend too!

Dynamat isn't cheap but there are substitutes .. might be worth it on the roof and engine bulk-head

Have you thought about stick-on insulation pads, like Dynamat, on the really noisy panels before the carpet?

Back when I was a small boy these were common sights .. and if I remember none were immaculate, even when relatively new. Whether that was the environment they were kept in or simply because of the fibreglass body they deteriorated quicker not sure, but most had crazing or lumps out of the "bumpers"...

Knowing that the rattle can route was going to cost me a small fortune, a spray gun has now been sourced. Had it in my head that the entry level was way more expensive. I used a gravity one that came with my compressor and it was ample for what I did .. (generic photo!). Worked better than I ex...
