Re: Mazda MX5 NA (mk1) Classic? Advice

The bits are worth quite a bit and I've broken a few in the past as they are used for several racing series. The roofs are easily £100 if semi decent as well but I do think it's a shame to spoil a car that could go again. Might see if anyone fancies a project before deciding.

Re: Mazda MX5 NA (mk1) Classic? Advice

I do love them as cars and I've had a few! It was the fact it is such an early one that made me think. The best I've managed to sell a mark 1 is for £1250 in the summer and to be honest that's great as the car and engine only stand me in about £500 as is. Its just the time and space that's the issue.

Mazda MX5 NA (mk1) Classic? Advice

Hi all not been on in ages, sold the Rialto, and the Kitten and put the Fox up for sale. Replaced with a 1 owner from new Minor that needs near enough everything doing to it. That's the update on me. Lol. In my quest to get some space in my workshop I have sitting in the corner a 1989 Mazda MX5 Euno...

Only Classic Car Mag

I can honestly say I have decided to stop buying the "other" classic car mag since they have been bought out as the quality of what was in there was massively limited and found it just full of adverts. Also never found the benefits of a classic car with a modern engine. Might as well buy something w...

Re: 1987 Reliant Rialto SE

Ah thats promising. I was going to list it for around £1000 i think so my guess seems about fair. I will do some pics monday when i get it off the transporter and i imagine after a battery boost it should start. Its a shame the old reliant forum is no more so looks like another for ebay! I still can...

1987 Reliant Rialto SE

Hi all, I've just bought a 1987 Reliant Rialto SE in British Racing Beige (Sandglow) lovely clean car completely standard and was bought for a lady as her 60th birthday present where she drove it until she died last year covering 80k. It needs an new MOT and has a fair bit of history with it even in...

Re: Future Classics

I actually think a Mk1 Focus is a classic anyway. In the same way that the Ka was in this months magazine is as well. A real change of direction in styling for Ford. I am probably just saying with the amount of electrics on modern cars I guess the hobby will have to try to keep up with the skills ne...

Re: Future Classics

Do we really think there will be future classics? Excluding the high value cars, convertibles and 4x4s surely the complexity of new cars make them out of the reach of enthusiasts to tinker and certainly not cost effective? My everyday Herald has a fuel leak, new needle valve £13. Catalytic converter...

Re: Today I have been ?????????????? to my classic

Still using the Herald. Paid £39 to have the tracking done as it was well out and it only just fitted on the ramps at the tyre place. You forget how fat modern cars are. Made some new battery cables for the Marina so it takes a regular battery and not one that screws on to the terminals so will try ...
