Ay up!
Mrs B looks a very happy woman indeed. Audrey was born the same year as I was and Mrs XN wishes that I was in as good condition as she is.
Lovely cars - a Mini is on my list of cars I'd like to own but SWMBO has planted her foot. One XN, one car. End of.![Rolling Eyes ](./images/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif)

Ay up!
I have a Mamod Traction Engine meself. Must get a new cylinder and piston for it, then I can steam it again!
You'd need dynamite to get it off me....

John, you are right. I picked the acronym up while working in the transport industry where if we had a VOR, that was very urgent because it wasn't earning money.....
Meeting with the Boss next week - let y'all know.

I thought RUST = Rust, usual Sixties/Seventies trait?
Well done on this. You are a brave man. And you'll have an unusual car and make no mistake.

Ay up! The Swearfest is over. Richard's Fiesta is now continent once more. I thought that I'd either not tightened up the bolts properly or damaged the part. Turned out that the feeble excuses for a hose clip that Ford use are not reusable after all  so new, proper Jubilee clips have been purc...

Ay up! Good on yer. How nice to see a decent bloke with a decent car. Not long ago, Capris were seemingly condemned to either boy racer trash or Chest Wig Man. Whichever, they always seemed to have those poxy dice in the windscreen. I can never make up my mind which I prefer. The Mk1's purity of loo...

Re: What classic vehicles have you seen?
Ay up! There I was, off to the local shops for one or two things, minding me own business when I saw a gorgeous Mk1 Escort, pale blue with darker blue RS stripes on it. The owner, who was in the queue for the Chinese Takeaway, came out for a natter. Turns out iit was a "cooking" Mk1 Escort, discover...
