Anyone know where I can get a new / replacement Friction Roller for my MG Midget headrest part no CZA4713 all usual suppliers have discontinued, or know of a substitute that can be used.

All sorted thanks for advice, it turned out to be a blocked pickup pipe in the tank, cleaned out refitted, fuel now flowing to carbs

Midget fuel pump prime
Hi Just installed refurbed fuel tank and new pump on the Midget, but cant get any fuel through to carbs, pump is running ok with outlet at top and inlet at bottom as instructed on new SU pump, any ideas would be appreciated on how to prime, I have sealed the tank inside wandering if it could of seal...

Thanks for all replies, I thought it had something to do with points closed, I needed the ignition on for a while as I was testing electrics on the fuel pump, sender unit etc, will remove supply to coil in future, can anyone recommend a good carb balancing kit ?

Ignition coil hot
Can anyone tell me why my ignition coil gets very hot almost untouchable when the ignition is turned on without engine running, have checked wiring polarity + to 12 volt supply - to Distributor, this is a newly built engine so has only just run for 2 - 3 mins

Can anyone let me know the position of the throttle mounting holes in the footwell, have replaced the front steel so have lost original fixing points ie measurment from floor pan and side panel would be great thanks Rob
