Kev, I saw that car when I was walking the dog but I couldn't take a photo. The car is a Humber Super Snipe, registration GSF290D. It looks to be in similar condition to your's and is in regular use. If I didn't have my hands full I would've taken a photo.

You're right about regular oil changes. Most modern cars will be fine with a decent brand of semi-synthetic. Millers Trident 10w40 semi-synth is one I'd recommend for your MX5. I've used the stuff in my Astra and a local motor factor sells it for only £18. Well worth every penny.

You can't compare Tim Shaw to Mike Brewer. Tim's nothing comapred to what he was like in some of his previous radio presenter jobs.
