Re: PC on google maps
Ha! I was in the carpark the day they took those images having a walk with tony Turner our archivist. We saw the car and shambled towards it, but didn't get our photos taken. Bad times. FYI the green Diahatsu Sirion parked near the entrance is my daily hack - was a free car that does 50mpg before yo...

Re: may issue
I was doubtful of the colour too, but in the metal it zinged. Was a complete hoot to drive too - especially as it had almost no brakes on the day of the photoshoot. The handbrake was quite good though... The brake problem was traced to a leaking caliper that evening! Thought it was unfair to mention...

Re: Almighty cock-up with the June edition of the mag.
Really, a cock up did you say? Presumably you didn't read page 159 when it clearly states that 'This issue the latest prices for AC to Marcos, next issue Matra to Wolseley' Yes the price guide has grown so big we've had to split it in two to fit all the entries in. This was rather than drop some mod...

Re: Thanks for interviewing my dad
And the Chassis was totally unaltered, the floor was cut a little in one place but it was a totally standard chassis. It still used the original steering and axles which also count in the points system. Gearbox doesn't count in points and i think the engine is only classed at 1 point, so his score f...

Re: Subscription
I'm afraid i tell people the same thing all the time - wait for the sub to lapse, then buy the issues at the shops until a subs offer that appeals to you comes up. That's what i used to do when i subscribed anyway.
Cheers,
Neil

1pm it is. I'll attempt to be on the stand at 1pm on all three days - however, we do have some live stage commitments which may clash, but hopefully not...

Practical Classics Facebook page / group
Hello, for some reason which i'm yet to get to the bottom of, we have to move our Facebook group to a Facebook page. Or something. Basically if you're a member of the Facebook Group, you need to go to the other page and 'like' it. This is the same as being a member of the group, and all activity sho...

Re: footman and james show at shepton mallet
didn't make it yet again. I may make more of an effort when they either rename it or move it back to Bristol. Shepton Mallet is NOT Bristol. Always annoyed me that, but then i'm a pedant so what you gonna do?

Re: Forum users meet up...
Another one here for an NEC meet. Last time we tried it, I met up with Young Farmer at the PC stand but nobody else turned up! Strangely I think that was a week or so before the plug was pulled on the site! Well you had about as much warning as i did with the old forum, believe me. We should sort a...
