Re: Filler plug Triumph stag manual box

Thanks for the reply Harvey. I have advised the owner to ring one of the Triumph specialists advertising in the magazine. I don't want to get involved with this one as a retired fitter had gone with the the now owner to see the car. He had been advised that if he shakes his head to not buy the car. ...

I haven't seen this car, or done anything with Stags so couldn't answer the question. On this car there is a bolt with a nut on...

Re: Princess, 414, Corsa, 6TL, etc. - 15/06 Renault

It might be for sale soon. He is thinking of selling either the Rover or his MGF. I may be wrong but I think the Rover has a BL engine. The car is a genuine low miler and is in very good nick. If you are interested I will be seeing him this weekend and could send you his details.

Re: Lacquering wood

The varnish I used on the woodwork in my Wolseley 1500 was Le Tonkinois Varnish. The finish with it is superb and it lasts. I bought it from a chap at a local agricultural show. Reason I bought it was I had bought a sander attachment a few years before from him, lent it to a work colleague who broke...

Re: Today I have been ?????????????? to my classic

Took the hydrogas displacers off the Maxi as the ride had gone quite harsh to have them modified to enable them to be regassed. Taking a few days off and taking them to Telford to have them done. Had to remove the radiator to get at the n/s front unit and found that the core fins are turning to dust...
