Wheeler dealer in real life?

Wheeler dealer in real life? Hi guys just wondering, Do you think being a real life wheeler dealer (like the TV program) could work? So to clarify, buying a classic doing it up and selling it on. Either from the Uk or USA. I have the space, a big garage, most the tools and I enjoy working on old car...

Re: Thanks for interviewing my dad

Surely IVA is only required if you radically alter the monocoque or chassis. He claims that all his modifications are reversible. Nope. It works on a points system, don't quote me but something like 5 points if you keep the chassis , 1 for engine 1 for gearbox and 1 for axles etc.... So even with a...

Re: Thanks for interviewing my dad

I wanted to know how he managed to keep the car road legal?

As it has a different engine, gearbox, axle, surly it must now require IVA ? In the words of IVA this is radically altered.

How did he get that, i think that would be an interesting article? :ugeek:

MGB? A great choice in some respects.... ££££

I think the fact that the editorial in the magazine is given over to arguing why this is a great and different project says it all. If Danny really thought this was what he is saying he would not be using his editorial to pre-emptively argue its case. I think as readers we sometimes forget this is n...

Re: MOT happy or sad?

However I am concerned, that there may come a day, when there will not be many people capable of applying the rules to older vehicles, in which case, the annual MOT would presumably involve a trip to a specialis .............I think you underestimate testers Martin- basically, a car is a car: a whe...
