Ah didn't realise SORN had been about that long.....what if the current owner has not SORN it does that present a problem?- I'm guessing it does.

So I have just purchased a car that has not been on the road for about ten years - before SORN was introduced. It is tax and MOT exempt. When I used to build gearboxes and diff's with LSD's they quite often required very thin shims beyond what was available by Audi. As said above I would cut them myself from sheet material - often so thin that I could use kitchen scissors to cut them. Perfectly adequate especially baring in mind thes...

I don't see the problem at all. The speed limits are set on roads for a reason whether we like it, or agree with them, or not. Exceed them then one is committing an offence and deserves to be prosecuted.
