Re: breakdown truck

    Rich has won the Internet! :D :D :D :D Two, not just the one mind, but TWO Tagoras. Oh my days! Then the Century; most desirable of the entire Toyota range from the era and the only Toyota to have that unbelievably sweet 5 litre V12 and, at €15000, she's cheaper than ...

Re: What are petrol prices doing with you?

Premium (E10 95RON) is currently £1.76 per Litre at the local Asda, but to put this into context; when I collected my Dolomite from the vendor's home in Dartford back in October 2008, I filled up at an Asda there prior to making the 360ish mile run home. I remember being concerned that the equivalen...

Re: Zel's Fleet Blog...Citroen, Mercedes, Sinclair & AC Model 70

Here's hoping that you're soon back to full health. All of your many bits of vintage computer tech fascinate me, but the real "Phwoooaarrgghhh" (sp?) moment when I read of your latest exploits has to be the Alpine.    Now find yourself a Tagora and the entire world of we...

Re: What would you buy & why?

Tried imgur? Yes, but whenever I've tried to load images hosted there to this forum, I get the usual message about my IP address being on some form of proscribed list. At least the forum itself gets around its similar warning by switching on my VPN. Imgur just tells me to turn it off. At least flic...

Re: What would you buy & why?

Harvey, you're so close that I'm counting your answer as a win, unless anyone gets closer. Same body, but Comfort came in dual fuel, rather than hybrid, electric rear door optional across the range, I've just uploaded all of the pics taken before the car went off for its mot, prior to receiving its ...

Re: What would you buy & why?

Aah, bless. :D I must have bought, resold and destroyed at least four vehicles since this thread first appeared at the behest of the voices that tell me to buy stuff, so I couldn't in fact recall whether my taxi fetish had progressed beyond a daft idea when I last posted here.... No pictures yet, bu...

Re: 1964 Ford Anglia 105e 1500GT Revival

....... I shall now try and find Deliverance...   Hmm, I recommend that you try Royal Mail 24 hour tracked. Should that not be what you meant, there's always your local priest, they're pretty useful at that sort of thing. :| Oh, you mean the film. Course you do. It's available from ...

Re: 1964 Ford Anglia 105e 1500GT Revival

Shame on you, Rich! Everyone has seen Deliverance at least seventeen times so by failing in your duty to seek out and post images of incongruously placed classic cars, you've let us all down. ;) :P According to my friend and erstwhile colleague, Evil Lynn, Burt Reynolds' moustache looks like it migh...

Re: 1964 Ford Anglia 105e 1500GT Revival

Lots of photos please ! Seconded! In my opinion, the red stripe and roof on white body is the best ever colourway for an Anglia of that shape. It's also the colourway seen on the Anglia spotted in the film Deliverance, in a scrapyard near where the characters stocked up on supplies for thei...

Re: breakdown truck

Ooh! A Dickshovery the same colour as mine, in RHD with a mere 270000KM on the odometer, and it appears to be available for €1. Oh wait, it's a D2 but maybe worth offering them 42 Cents and using the change to buy a fresh box of rods to attach the new rear quarter chassis that these newfangled Disco...
