Re: Zel's Fleet Blog...Lada, Citroen, Mercedes, Sinclair & AC Model 70

I'm a big fan of these I wasn't .. :| Until I drove a particularly well kept one  . Now though, well let us say that I know why drivers of these always seem to be smiling, even on rainy days. I had owned several of Volvo's traditional (RWD) large cars and still have a love for their simple, ...

Re: Zel's Fleet Blog...Lada, Citroen, Mercedes, Sinclair & AC Model 70

Thanks, Pete, I've been reading all of the new posts as they appear but have had some less enjoyable stuff going on and haven't always felt up to posting anything on any of my favourite web fora. Until, that is, I saw the latest posts relating to Zel's collection of vehicles so different from each o...

Re: Zel's Fleet Blog...Lada, Citroen, Mercedes, Sinclair & AC Model 70

I'm very much enjoying this thread. Not only because of its variety, but also because there cannot be many web pages that would show the procedures involved in refurbishing the facilities in a classic camper van. Then there's the - increasingly  - tempting idea of the tiny AC, if I do happen t...

Re: Meet The Welshmobile!

Haha  , a chance would be fine thing, is that an Invader? I believe that it is, but this belief is based only on the fact that a quick web search including the name comes back with similar looking machinery. I know the square root of nowt about Gilbern cars or their manufacturer's history, tho...

Re: Zel's Fleet Blog...Lada, Citroen, Mercedes, Sinclair & AC Model 70

That engine sounds great and clearly pulls pretty well. I love that the car shows its age and has some cosmetic issues, you could park that anywhere and not worry too much about errant shopping trolleys making contact with the bodywork! So which way now for the small, eccentric vehicle? Are...

Re: What would you buy & why?

Nice! Bus lovers will possibly confirm that the double decker is as stated a 1961 vehicle. Chances are it was issued with the A plate when it was off the road during the changeover from paper to digital data recording at DVLA in the late seventies. Nowadays, an older car would receive an age related...

I've been busy with my garage project and I'm sure you'd all like to see..
Too right we would! I reckon that's an excellent space, sure & you'll fill it with something car-shaped in the not too distant future.
Keep up the good work.

Re: breakdown truck

The vendor was doing so well until the bit about people who still use cheques. What a pompous individual, I hope that they get a massive parking fine for leaving their ill maintained car in that lay by and that they catch a serious dose of lice that they then spread to each and every one of t...
