Re: Yet another "what should I buy next?" type of thread..

Hmm, that Wolseley would need a fair bit of glue and no small amount of Cataloy to make it look good but its headlamps may be retrievable? :| The seller of that hearse might just have a different definition of perfect condition from the rest of the world, it must have taken many miles and one massiv...

Re: Yet another "what should I buy next?" type of thread..

 Someone has far too much screen time! Watch out, Rich, all of this eBay spotting could damage your eyes and as we all know, builders need their eyes in working order to make sure that they don't send out bills for less than the proper amount. ;) I'm intending to look at all of the links th...

Re: Practical Classics April '87

The O/P was last on the boards 7 minutes after they requested the copy of the magazine that they were after, maybe a PM would help? I sent one then, but had no reply when I asked them to consider that I need to rehome every edition up to the start of 2014, so if you were able to supply just the one,...

Re: Yet another "what should I buy next?" type of thread..

Yes, absolutely spot on, and the later shape of Ballade was also sold in the UK as a Honda and was also available as the Rover 213/216.Great wee motors, even more rust prone than an Alfasud which had been stored in a field by the sea for years. I guess that I was simply comparing one cramped but oth...

Re: Yet another "what should I buy next?" type of thread..

Ooh! Got to love a Prelude, though it could be argued that the Triumph badged, four door alternative is (marginally) less cramped and as such, a better buy. Acclaim for me please, assuming that the driver's seat can be moved an extra four inches to the rear and six inches upwards. I found ...

Incontinent perhaps, but yes, what a fine looking old thing that is!   Ideal for solving neighbourhood parking disputes too, I would think.

Re: Yet another "what should I buy next?" type of thread..

Sarcasm, from me? :o Not in the bit about how much I like the thing, maybe a little in the idea of anyone actually trying to register something Japanese in France.. :scared: I don't see anything annoying about that rather fine Maxi  , apart from the fact that it's a post-1975 one and as such,...

Re: Yet another "what should I buy next?" type of thread..

 indeed! That's a lovely wee thing and well under the Heavy Quad weight limit, so its manual gearbox wouldn't render it unlawful for me to drive as would be the case with any heavier four wheeled device or non-tricycle class three wheelers such as the Ant. Inadvisable, but not illegal. ;) But...
