Re: Advice on brake judder, might not be easy...
Thanks for the reply. For some reason this site is blocked when I'm in work so I've had to wait until I'm home again to post this. I'll certainly give those areas a check next, something which has never been suggested yet. I quite like the other site you mention but after running out of any suggesti...

Advice on brake judder, might not be easy...
Hello again everyone. It's been quite some time since I've been on here, in fact a quick search suggests nearly 2.5 years, but I'd appreciate some advice on a braking problem. Vehicle is a 1984 Ford Transit AutoSleeper pop top (featured in the owners vehicles section some time back). It's been sat f...

Re: Tracing an electrical fault
Thanks for the input peeps. I'm more comfortable with oily bits or a bit of welding so the advice is appreciated. As for saving it all I can say is I'm a sucker for Fords from the 60's to the 80's.

Re: Tracing an electrical fault
Yep, nothing to anything at all. Turn the ignition and nothing, try to turn anything on anyway and nothing.

Tracing an electrical fault
This could either be very involved or something simple.... First, I'm not afraid to admit electrics are not my strong point. It could be said my electrical skills are that low I don't even register a point! Anyway, I've acquired a very early mk2 series 1 Ford Granada 2.8. It's been sat unloved since...

Cooling issue
More specifically for a 2.0 pinto engine, but I guess this is quite generic. All was good, running normally, until one day the temp gauge dropped from the middle of the temp reading to virtually zero. Classic symptoms of a stuck open thermostat or a faulty gauge in my mind. Heaters warm but no longe...

Cleaning slot mag wheels
I've had a set of Cobra SuperSlots in storage for a long time and consequently they're now quite weathered. My thinking is to polish them up then lacquer them so they can go on something I'm building. Rather than sit there for countless hours with a rag and some T-Cut or such I was thinking it might...

Re: Tracking device
Thanks TerryG. I looked up the Skytag kit when you posted, but I'm keen on finding more about the kit PC fitted as it looked to do almost as much but for a very good price. I can't make out anywhere in the article the kit they used though.

Tracking device
I've read with interest the article in this months mag for the home fitment of a basic tracking device. I have a couple of classics that are stored in lockups near home which is good to keep them out of the elements but bad as you can't watch them all the time. I sometimes don't get back to a lockup...
